Rekha Thapa was conceived in Salakpur in Morang area of Eastern Nepal. Subsequent to moving on from school, she moved to Kathmandu for her higher studies. As she had powerful urge to be an on-screen character, she kept on taking part in different displaying looks and fabulous projects. Later she participated in the Miss Nepal Pageant in 1999, and wound up in Top 10.
Thapa acted as a model, and was subseq#uently drawn closer by the maker Chhabi Raj Ojha with a proposition to work in the motion picture "Legend" with Rajesh Hamal. Amid the shooting of Hero, Chhabiraj Ojha proposed to her, and the two were hitched in customary style.After ten years, the couple sepa@rated.
